Oinos’s is not only about selling wine, experiencing dining, and culinary concepts. It is about innovation and education related to the ancient world of Greece. Our motherland had wineries fermenting wine since 4000 BC. Besides producing many magnificent achievements in areas of government, science, philosophy, and the fine arts that still influenced our lives the ancient Greeks invented wine consumption systems and classified wine appelations.

                  The Founders  

The founders of Oinos Wine Imports LLC, Andreas Kelemidis & Tasso Ballas, have worked in the wine and hospitality industries for more than 30 years. WSET scholars and wine enthusiasts, both have developed Greek wine programs and restaurant concepts in the US, Greece, Germany, Malta, and Canada creating a fresh and exciting vision in the American wine & restaurant industry, Andreas & Tasso merge ancient Hellenistic traditions with the innovations of modern Greece.  


They are insatiably curious about the hospitality industry and make it their business to keep up with global and local trends. Since their educational nature is welcomed everywhere, they are able to develop and maintain long-term relationships with their customers and the industry as a whole. Wine connoisseurs, one can trust.
